October Salt Marsh Sketches. The first in a series of <\/strong>monthly salt marsh sketch books.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"October<\/p>\n

I love the salt marsh so I am sketching it throughout the year.<\/p>\n

“My” salt marshes are on the Bristol Channel coast at Portishead and Portbury Wharf. However the wildlife and plants are typical of many salt marshes around our coast.<\/p>\n

I hope you get as much pleasure from reading the book as I had creating it.<\/p>\n

The book has 56 pages with over 80 sketches of birds, boats, seascapes. So you can get a glimpse of what a salt marsh is like in October. A\u00a0brief narrative threads its way through the book. Each of the coloured sketches is accompanied by a colour palette.<\/p>\n

It is 216 wide by 135 mm (8.5 x 5.5 inches) and printed on high quality 300 gms silk paper. The soft cover is matt laminated and has a lovely feel.<\/p>\n
