Previous exhibitions

The Mall Galleries, London

Every year the Society of Wildlife Artists
holds its annual Open Exhibition
at the prestigious Mall Galleries on the Mall in London.

Anyone from around the UK and beyond can enter
and paintings are selected by a panel of experts.

They are looking for innovative and unusual pieces
and this year they chose my rather fun sketch of
Redshank at Battery Point.

Lido September 2018

This small exhibition was in the Community Cafe
of my local open air Lido.
Very many years ago, in the deep of winter,
I learnt to swim in this Lido.
It was so cold the instructor wore a thick overcoat.
I remember it well!

Gallery walls don't have to be white.
Paintings stand out on these deep red walls.

The view across the bay from this little gallery is rather fabulous.

2017 more to add

This was a great exhibition at
the HQ of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
at Slimbridge in Gloucestershire in 2016.

Such a fantastic space!

I was exhibiting with Shelly Perkins
an amazing digital wildlife artist.
We really enjoyed exhibiting here together!

We needed well over 30 paintings each to fill this space.
It took a day to hang but it was worth all the effort.

Another lovely gallery . . .

The wonderful Donald Watson gallery
in the HQ of the Scottish Ornithologists Club
at Aberlady near Edinburgh

and what a view from the window

More to come . . .
